Stone on stone choker
It started with a stone I found on Lake Huron — already a perfect circle, worn smooth by wind and water. I used a small recycled synthetic opal, carefully set it into a sterling silver bezel to complement the lake stone. The pendant and toggle are sterling silver, the chain stainless steel, chosen for durability and a clean, modern contrast to the organic center piece.
The design balances natural and reclaimed materials: the lake stone’s matte glow against the opal’s play of color, both framed by cool, handcrafted silver. Memories of the shoreline where it began — weathered, smoothed, and made new.
